Since our video protocols are designed for low latency streaming, there’s little room for error with regard to network dropouts and disconnections. As such, it’s possible that you may experience disconnects from time to time. That said, they’re not normal, and there are a few things you can do to help troubleshoot!
- Make sure you’re streaming below our maximum bitrate (3.5Mbps, including audio). If you stream at a higher bitrate, you’ll be disconnected from our ingest servers.
- Consider giving another ingest a shot. We have a wide variety of ingest locations, and it’s possible that some may periodically experience disruptions.
